    manchester hotel reccomendations?

Never been to Manchester, don't know the Area at all.

I'm after a hotel which is reasonably close to Terminal 2 of the Airport, but not too far away from some restaurants/bars.

Any reccomendations? How far away from the Airport is the City Centre?

Was thinking something like Travelodge at the Airport...but rather have some suggestions from people in the know first!

    Cheers

I stayed at the Brittania Hotel inbetween Didsbury & the Airport, they have a shuttle bus from the hotel to the Airport, if you drive they also pick you up again when you land and take you to your car.

Didsbury is similar to Jesmond for a night out :)

While we're on the subject of Manchester, can anyone recommend any decent club nights, for this Saturday specifically.

Going to Manchester for the weekend and was thinking of going to Sankeys on Saturday night, until I found out Kate Lawler was on

Aye I noticed that but I haven't got any raving back up til Chewy and the other squad get there on Saturday afternoon. Might try and persuade some of the lads to go to that but it's unlikely. Would love to see Sneak

Just looked on the Sankeys website and Kate Lawler isn't on the listings for Saturday any more, maybe they've come to their senses and given her the boot.

You could probably stay at any hotel in the northern quarter to be honest and have a choice of bars and restraunts and just get the train from Manchester picadilly too the airport which is about a 5-10 min train journey.

Or The Thistle is about 5 mins from Manc Picadilly and right next to Picadilly Gardens and theres a few bars and restraunts round near there and not far from chinatown if you like chineese/thai.

and within walking or canal street if you fancy a transvestite ramming his cock up your arse
