i know everybody is probably sick of these threads,but was just wondering what good latest phones people could recommend?

i still love my sony ericsson k800i, but I'm due an upgrade tomorrow and don't know what to get to replace it
i'm not really bothered about music etc on it because i have my ipod, just needs to have a decent camera, with enough memory, oh and a flash for when recording videos. thats the only fault i can pick with the k800i :evil:

is that available yet? just i was looking at it last night, and thats what i fancy. it says it's not available til oct tho thinking about holding on for it
did you have to pay any extra for it? what network you on?

Well thats the one im getting off 02, ive just gone onto contract and he said il have it with in the next day or 2

awesome i'm with o2 aswell, i'm a 'select' customer so get upgrades every 9months, and i'm allowed the latest phones free of charge, so hopefully shouldn't have to pay for it if you've got it as a new customer

I think any existing o2 customer are allowed now aint they?

I been with em bout 5 years and this always annoyed me how they'd give new phone to new customers but not to exisiting. I'm due upgrade this month also... so they best have plenty in stock!

they've just phoned me there and i asked for the k850i, they said it isn't available until the 8th of october, and won't let me pre-order it :evil:

i said that i know someone who is with o2 and is receiving it within the next few days, and he said it's not possible?

he was absolutely useless. they better have some left when they ring me back on the 8th oct

Still up to their ord tricks then I see.... its ridiculous they cant pre order or reserve handsets..

I went thru all that last time. its not in stock ring back in a couple of weeks...

When I did, oh they've all gone again... ring back in another 2 weeks... well cant u reserve or order me onw. No we dont have the system to do it! :evil:

went into the o2 shop today, and apparently sony ericsson have put back the release date to november now

eventually let me order the phone today apparently it's just been released today, and o2 have them in stock

i've got an alright deal aswell, 400 minutes and 500 texts, with the k850i for only £20 a month and thats including the vat

what u do with ure old fone?

still got it. don't know what I'm going to do with it, probably sell it on, because it's still in perfect condition, only had it 9months

i blagged the bloke til he gave me a better deal

O2 do reserve them for you

they can only reserve them after the release date. thats what i was told on the phone today. ie new k850i wasn't released through o2 until today, so they could only just start processing orders today
