    last night

one of the best nights promise has seen...fact!!!

anton fielding played a quality warm-up, tom neville played a wicked set, exactly the type of house i love...

but gabriel and dresden stole the show....played some top tunage, but their use of technology was worth the entrance fee alone, great to see some trancey dj's getting off their arses and doing something different instead of just turning up with a bag of records!

when they played smells like teen spirit the place exploded!!havn't seen promise go off it like that since gav green played ubik!:p

once again though newcastle showed it is the most tasetless city in the country with the turnout, there's more to life than eddie halliwell and last night proved it!:D

I coined it "Promdig" myself :D

    Absolutley corking night I thought.

Missed Anton, arrived at about 11.15 ish......wasn't too keen on the first bit of Tom Neville (that I was there for), but after that it was really good.

    G&D....

Absolutley LOVE 'Mo one on Earth', amazing tune

I'd certainly welcome either of them back to another Promise event.

Real shame it was so empty, but at least everybody there had a cracking time.

Tom Neville was well sound too.....Allie took the piss out of his combover

    Cracking night, well done!!
    :p

Whatever remix of 'U got the love' that Tom played was the turning point in the evening for me.... turned the night from dirty house into prog and beyond :D

    Was pretty good.

Think it would have worked better if g&d played summit like 11-2, and a Hardwick or a Lange followed. Just got slightly bored in parts. Still thought everyone played really good sets.

That "U Got the Love" remix was outstanding! Anyone any ideas. It didnt have any vocals if that helps.

"No One On Earth" too. Outstanding! :D

I enjoyed it. G & D were excellent. Thank you promise for bringing someone different up like that :) I thought their 1st 2 hours were spot on, drifted a bit after that.

Good point about having maybe Hardwick or someone on after them but I aint complaining it was an excellent evening's entertainment.

Poor turn out though :( You should all be ashamed of yourselves*
