Yeah me too, been going to promise for ages, looked at the listings on here all the time, didnt even think of joining the message board, untill ppl took a few random photos ov me and said 'check out the promise mesage board!'...glad i did now! xx

i'd say the board has convinced me to come to a couple of extra nights, that i may have missed... but otherwise no, i'd still be going - messageboard or not.

to be honest, if it wasnt for the promise message board, i would never have gone to promise and consequently never have given sundiss or gk or gg a chance either....wel dun promise messageboard.

I was going 2 promise ages b4 the message board. but ive went out a bit more since the message board came on.

The board has influenced me to go to a few more nights than I would normally have gone to..

For example I wouldn't have normally went to see Lab 4, but cos of people talkin bout them on the board I went.

Glad I did too..

Oh and it gives me somethin to do when I get really bored..

it used to help combat my boredem at work but sum stupid selfish twat got us all banned from using the net unless we['re on break!!!

yeah its quite mad actually, theres a few people i knew, then found out they were certain people on the message board.

Theoretically (sp) though shouldn't you be allowed to access the net to get info for a caller??

For example, if a caller needs to know bout new tarrifs or broadband then u should be able to look it up.

dunno if this is right but it seems to make sense..

The board has helped me meet some of my best mates!!!

I went to Promise long before I started using the board but didnt go very often cos me mates never had the money. Now, because of meeting people from the board I can go without my mates from home. My nights at Promise are much better now too cos of the new people I know

And cos of meeting people from the board, I met Hogg. Doubt I wouldve known him if it wasnt for the board!

i would probably go more if there wasnt a board.
cos i wouldnt have to read everyone's shit all week, and so would actually want to speak to them @ weekends in real life....!
