I think you done a realy good job on the start of the track , when it kicks in i would prob use more grovey percush, rather then the off beat hats, the orig track has like african feel to it so i would prob use things like bongos low in the mix with hats and percush hits, then add your off beat hats later on in the track, would defo kick in with a grove after the intro ....
yeh, i was thinking of puttin some bongo sounds in after the kickin on the bridge, to give it like a mixed feel, rather then goin all out on the kick in. but what i really wanted was the vocal trying to get a hold of that. cheers for the feedback gaz
