    Hey Nucastle!!

Bringing you the latest Deep Site Recordings release Tony S is a well know name in Deep House Music circles around the globe. His past works for Savoir Faire Musique, UM Records, Lens Media, 3am, Unrivalled, as well as Endemic Digital have been very well received by fans of melodious emotive Dance music. A jazz bassist as well as session musician originally, Tony has parlayed his compositional insight coupled with an ear to the underground to his advantage in the modern electronic realm. New to Tony's repertoire is this remarkable three track EP on Deep Site. Starting things out is the lush elegant refrain of "Stress". Its light airy percussive pulses are coupled with jazz piano stabs wrapped around a dark bassline deep within a funk groove. It is definitely a well-rounded piece of music that will have the club moving to its rapturous rhythms. The second track is a remix of "Stress Response" which comes from Croatian DJ and label owner of Forward Education Recordings, Igor Brzovic. Taking the harmonious as well as percussive elements of the original, Igor rearranges the track with more emphasis on the modal aspects of Tony’s creation. Then, adding layers of synth stabs and his own rolling bassline, he creates a virtual fresh translation of the original.Next track on the EP is Tony's new original House anthem, "Tell Me". Starting with a palpitating static ambience, it is as if this song has been playing forever somewhere in the distance. It slowly builds into a dark moody mélange of congas, synths, and organ lines. A progressive delay soon overtakes the main lines, blurring them into a whirling rush of sound, before breaking back into the main riff. It then rides off into the distance again like it began, most likely starting again the next time you find it in the musical horizon. The last song on the EP is a remix by Terry Vernixx. His High Desert Remix approach to sonic aesthetics has been heard on 3am Recordings, Ambiosphere, Native Soul, and Snake Beat Records. As usual, Terry’s acumen is deep flowing psychedelic House with solid rhythmical foundations. Live gated piano lines, sub-bass, progressive synths, and orchestral stabs all dominate along with Tony's original song elements. It is tailor made for intelligent dance floors with an ear for fresh musical modernizations.
