    Da Vinci Code

Critics from the premiere at Cannes already saying it's "grim, miserable... and a bit ofa let down"

Still looking forward to seeing it!

I don't belive anything I read or hear, prefer to make judgements on my own

I've read the book, so its more of seeing if the film does justice to the book :)

Looking forward to seeing it :D

I don't think Tom Hanks is right for the lead role. Might watch it when it comes out on DVD, but not going to bother going to the cinema to see it.

Who do you think would be better for it?

When i was reading the book i pictured him more as Harrison Ford, obviously just for the Indiana Jones similarities though!

I'm not sure really. Someone a bit younger and more 'rugged' looking I suppose.

I thought Tom Hanks was a good choice. He's pretty much how I imagined the character to be when I read the book, and he always puts in a good performance. He's one of my favourite actors.

I really want to go and see this film. I doubt it will be better than the book though. I have only seen two films in my life that did the books justice.

He is a great actor, I just don't think he's right for this particular role.

No. It's just a personal opinion from reading the book and my take on the character.

well maybe the person making the film has a better interpretation of the book than you, so cast tom.

Everyone interprets the book in their own way, it's not a question of better or worse. It's only an opinion for god's sake!
