nout stops montys,i believe the kitchens set on fire last friday night and if it wasnt for the fire brigade coming very fast (unfortunatly) i would have burnt to a crisp.

    other classy venues were/are

the buzz - had a few partys in there until riots/gangster closed it down

the clock - had a few partys in there , inc the unofficial stanley blues festival
    afterparty

shaftoes - few partys in there , the bar man used to sell the e n coke if ur local
    dealer didnt have any

south moor social club - 1 party - 1 hour - stopped - bottles gan flying - bizzies

what a great place - but al still not go to montys . it has a dj called paul van watson:lol:

i fucking hate it when third rate clubs book dj's who have had a chart hit, just to play the one tune they had in...seems a massive waste, dusk in shields payed something in the region of three grand to have fedde le grande on, just to press play on a cdj.

seems a daft waste not to have them play a full set. obviously not that a basshunter set would be anything worth listening to like !

Knew it wouldnt take long for one of the Consett massive to rip into a night in Stanley. I guess Montys is the place to be in that part of the world, whatever happened to Trades?
