    Bargain clothes shopping?

Where do you (lads) go in town for your 'cheap' clothes on days when you'd rather get a selection of stuff rather than one hoody for £60 from the likes of Tucci or Envy? I'm off there later on and I'm budgeting myself at about £100 but the last time I did this I managed to get a hoody, a t-shirt and some food before being skint :s

I just want some new stuff for knocking around street corners and bus stops with, not clubbing clobba or anything ;)

Republic, Topman, River Island, New Look now do a mens range, dont know how good it is like.
Primark is good for plain tshirts that you dont mind loosing shape/fading/holidays etc. :D

I hate the stuff in Primark :p

Just checked the Republic website though, they have some pretty good 2 for £50 deals on. Think that'll be my first stop in town! Also, how could I forget TK-Maxx lol. There's usually a gem amongst the dirt in there.

if you're down the metrocentre, I highly rate zara menswear, bit more smart than casual stuff but really decent prices

debenhams do some canny casual stuff, the nigel cabourn stuff and the like, also can't wack marks and sparks either for plain day to day stuff

I still buy most of my jeans from River Island 'cos they're only £40 and are a good fit (for me). Only gripe is a lot of their styles are similar.

Topman's canny for t-shirts, but I'm not overly keen on Republic though.

I still find some of the clothes bought from "cheaper" shops last longer than some expensive clothes. Ironically I bought a Ted Baker Endurance suit from Moss Bros. and it's the worst quality suit I've ever had. Lasted 5mins. Cost a good few hundred quid too

Right I'm making a mental note of each of these shops :p I've never been a fan of places like M&S or Debenhams though cos it always feels like a bit of a faff on finding stuff through their annoying layouts.

Where's the best place for trainers? I love some of the stuff in Footlocker but It's all around the £60+ mark and I could do with something a lot cheaper to knock about in :dunce:

Some of the clothes are quite pricey, especially the lyle and scott gear, the trainers are good value tho, i got a few pair of adidas's which were round about 40-45 each, which is decent compared to some of the sports shops in town
