    Hahahaha. Not a bad excuse!

House trash teen Rachael Bell came out of hiding today and declared: "I'm sorry - it wasn't my fault."

Speaking to the Echo the 17-year-old Rachael said she is still too scared to face her parents after 200 yobs wrecked their £230,000 luxury home when she advertised her house party on the net.

But the home-alone teen claims the MySpace site was hijacked by louts who invited all-comers to "trash the average sized family house".

And louts did just that - leaving a trail of devastation and £20,000 worth of damage at the detached house in Chipchase Court, Woodstone Village.

A convoy of police cars and vans brought in to disperse the crowd on Easter Monday, which saw Rachael flee her home and go into hiding.

Still to ashamed to face her mum and dad Rachael said: "I'm really, really sorry about what's happened."

"I totally regret it. It was just supposed to be a party with a few friends and it turned into a complete nightmare. I'm sorry mam."

"It was just an absolute nightmare. It was so surreal – it still seems surreal. You just can't imagine anything like it happening," she said.

"I absolutely regret everything that happened. I still haven't properly slept, I just keep waking up and thinking about what happened."
    Rachael Bell: "I'm sorry."
Rachael's parents, Allan and Elaine Bell say they are looking for temporary accommodation after drink and drug fuelled yobs trashed their Houghton home in a copy-cat party imitating the trailer for the cult Channel 4 teen drama Skins.

But Rachael told of her hell when what was supposed to be a small, friendly gathering turned into a nightmare.

The sixth-form student who studies at Park View Comprehensive school in Chester-le-Street said class mates hacked into her MySpace internet site and invited teenagers from across the country to an all-night party in the quiet suburban street.

The malicious teens hacked into the site and advertised Rachael's Easter Monday party to hundreds as an "Unofficial Skins Party" with the subtitle "Let's trash the average family-sized house disco party."

"It was just supposed to be a small gathering with about 60 people – my friends are DJs and said they'd play," she said.

"The party wasn't supposed to start until 10 o'clock, but at half nine we saw people pulling up in cars.

"We didn't recognise them and didn't know what was going on so we bolted the door - but they just started climbing through the window."

She added: "We heard people at school talking about gate-crashing a party, but we didn't think it would be ours – we didn't think anyone would want to come.

"There were even 11-year-olds, year sevens from our school, trying to get in.

Rachael said she had a panic attack after the teens, who came from as far a field as London, started wreaked havoc, trashing the house.

"I just had a panic attack because of everything that was going on, just because I was so powerless to stop it."

Neighbours said several police vehicles swept into the normally sleepy street but told them they could do little to tackle the yobs and would normally need a month to plan for an incident of that size.

Rachael said while she was upstairs panicking other teenagers downstairs were impersonating her to police, saying everything was fine.

But it was in the cold light of day that the reality of what had happened began to hit home.

Rachael said: "Not everybody there was trashing the place. There were some nice people who were going round throwing people out."

"But in the morning the full extent of what happened just hit me.

"Actually, a lot of people even came back on the morning to help me try and tidy the place up.

"I was going to tidy up after the party - I thought I had a couple of days to clean the house before my parents got back.

"Then the ex-neighbour came and told my mam was on her way home and everyone had better clear out – and I left," she said.

Rachael said she is planning on staying with her friend's mother indefinitely and is dreading returning to school.

She said: "I'm really, really sorry about what's happened. I totally regret it – it was a complete nightmare and I'd warn anybody having a party not to put anything on MySpace because the sites can be hacked," she said.

"I'm just dreading going back to school and what the teacher's are going to say.

"I'm frightened that I'll get kicked out - I've got to finish my A Levels."

I hate the way the media play on the fact that

    a) the INTERNET was involved
    b) the show SKINS was some kind of 'influence'
    c) she used .... MYSPACE (shock horror) to organise it.

Big deal..... some girl had her house trashed by some idiots she invited round. Thats been happening since Jesus was a boy.

Funny story tho, especially when i heard it was from the north east

    It just gets funnier...

Teen revellers today told how children as young as 11 were smuggled into the house trash party – in suitcases.

Outraged neighbours chased off groups of drunk teens with sticks and golf clubs.

One partygoer, who lives just five minutes away from the quiet cul-de-sac, said: "Everyone thought there was loads of drink in the suitcases, but it was actually kids.

"They were trying to get as many people in the house as possible, so people were trying anything.

"A lot of us didn't actually get inside. When I arrived, there were about 100 people milling about outside.

"They just seemed to be waiting for a chance to get in there.
"Then the neighbours came out and we got chased into the woods – they weren't very happy."

Residents in Chipchase Court said they were stunned when taxis and minibuses carrying the teens arrived.

Another female partygoer said: "I couldn't believe it when I saw the kids getting out of the suitcases. I don't really know the girl whose house it was, but I feel sorry for whoever she is.

"There were loads of people in the street because a lot of us couldn't get inside the place."

This is one of the funniest things, ever! i mean iv been to a few partys where the house has been messed up a bit, but nothing like that. i guess she deserves it for advertising to 100,000,000 + networking site.

I've read the story on the beeb, sunderland echo, and even the freaking daily mail website, and I don't think any of them have played on those facts at all, other than saying how the thing came about. Skins is hardly mentioned, and myspace only gets an extra inch or two so they can explain what it is.

I was just about to type hardly and say that was a stupid post, but given the fact they're in houghton-le-spring he probably should've expected it.
