Quite a few more suggestions here: http://www.littledetroit.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6964

Some decent advice from people who use it to perform.

Seems just about everyone has their own take on it.

You'd do well to check the Ableton forum too. There'll be loads of threads about it there.

The one sahsa uses he's supposedly been making with ableton to sell commercially - don't know if that's bollox though.#

Most people I know who use it use various midi controller boards - as long as you get one that's fully assignable it really comes down to whether you prefer sliders or knobs or a combination of both. There are so many out there, with loads of different features.

Find an issue of 'Future Music'. They list most of the controllers on the market along with reviews.

I reckon you'd be best of getting something with sliders too. Imo anyway.

Thats the one i've been trying to think of. Really nice bit of kit. Its a bit more expensive, but looking again, I think it might be worth saving for.

8 sliders is about what i'd be after.

    Evolution are pretty steady too.
