    €uros

    Dear all

In 2 weeks I fly to Ibiza.

I already have 110 Euros and I require £450 to be changed to a further €653.

My boss has a €500 note, which I don't want on my person as I know for a fact I'd lose it.

Wondering what my options are - can I get the €500 changed without getting commission taken off it? Is there anywhere else which exchanges pounds to euros without taking commission, or somewhere which has an extremely low rate?

Try the post office opposite the civic centre or the American Express cash desk in Marks & Spencers on Northumberland st. Both change £-€ comission free, so might do it €-£ free too.

it isnt the same everywhere in my experience like, some place may give you say 1.41 euros to the pound, go down the road and they could be doing 1.46.

M&S tend to be the best

thats because the exchange rate is changing all the time, if you could be at the same place at the same time it would be the same, but from the time it takes you to walk from one shop to the next it would have changed slightly.
